Ibrahim Snoopy is a Sudanese filmmaker, storyteller, and cinematographer whose work centres around documenting themes of identity, displacement, and resilience. With a background in independent filmmaking and documentary storytelling, his projects highlight unheard voices and untold stories, particularly from communities affected by conflict and migration.
His cinematographic signature blends Sudanese heritage with contemporary narratives, exploring themes of identity, resilience, and social justice while amplifying the voices of marginalised communities. Among his participations are Khartoum Offside, Sudan, Remember Us, From Argentina to Sudan, and his short film Journey to Kenya. His latest film, Khartoum, was honoured with the Berlinale Peace Award (2025), a film that highlights the ongoing war in Sudan.
