I Am This Water documents the ongoing case between Liesbeek Leisure Property Trust (LLPT) and the Khoisan people as they dispute the construction of Amazon’s headquarters near the base of Table mountain on Ingamorodi,! Khaes. The film highlights the forgotten and neglected history and identity of these indigenous people as a part of their history is commemorated by the river located at this place. The realities of this minority group’s plight are highlighted, as the historical site, which forms part of their cultural heritage, is being traded off for industrial and economic gain.
