Deborah Ewing is a Durban-based writer whose main focus is social justice and inclusivity. Deborah has authored 12 books, fiction and non-fiction, some with translations into French, Swahili, Amharic and isiZulu. She has edited newspapers and magazines, and contributed chapters and articles to many books and journals. Her poetry features in several anthologies, including Voices for Palestine and Voices Unbound, and has been selected for the South African poetry journal Stanzas. She is part of an African ghazal collective and is working on her fourth poetry collection. Deborah also writes and voices audio description to make visual content accessible to blind audiences.
