Nelile Hlongwane is a poet, public speaker, and founder of the organization “Get to Know Women”. Born and raised in Nsimbini, she has shared her poetry on various public platforms, including Ukhozi FM, the podcast “Izinkondlo Ziyaphilisa” and also in 1kzn TV “Iyakhuleka Inkondlo”. Her work has featured on the front page of the Isolezwe newspaper and she won the Best Poet award in ULibo Awards in 2022. Nelile has contributed to the poetry book Rhino Poaching and is an active member of the Iziko Lamagama Art Movement. Currently, she is working on her debut collection, WAYILOBOLA. With a passion for empowering women and expressing herself through poetry, Nelile continues to inspire audiences with her words.
