Cleveland Hopp

Cleveland Hopp (he/him) is an emerging documentary filmmaker and content creator from Malmesbury, Western Cape. With a honours degree in Film and Television from the University of Cape Town, he’s now a freelance creative director and producer. Passionate about uplifting new talent and community work, Cleveland sparks conversations around queer parenthood, African identities, and Afrofuturism, using film and media to challenge norms and promote change—all while staying true to himself.
