Nyasha is an award-winning Pan-African director and cinematographer, passionate about telling stories that amplify alternative voices across the continent. She experiments with various storytelling forms, including virtual reality, podcasting, fiction, and non-fiction. Her work has screened at festivals such as Hot Docs, Sheffield DocFest, SXSW, and DOC NYC. A 2022 Brown Girls Doc Mafia Fellow and Sundance Documentary Fund Grantee, she also participated in the 2023 TIFF Filmmakers Lab. Nyasha is currently developing her debut fiction feature, Come Sunrise, We Shall Rule, and has had the world premiere of her director’s debut documentary, Matabeleland.
