Mpho is an attorney specialising in constitutional law and human rights litigation. She joined the organisation’s Law Centre in 2019 and was appointed as Head of Programmes in 2022. Mpho has been Acting Executive Director following Aditya Kumar’s departure in July 2023.
She holds a Bcom degree in Politics Philosophy and Economics and LLB from UCT. She j is passionate about the creation and utilisation of political spaces to challenge oppressive power relations and facilitating the exercise of people’s rights and capabilities through liberatory frameworks. She hopes to contribute to a reimagination of urban land towards just and inclusive cities.
