Nokwanda Sihlali is a researcher with expertise in land rights and tenure security in South Africa. She serves as a Research Officer at the Land and Accountability Research Centre, where she participates in field-based research, policy advocacy, and community engagement initiatives. Her work centres African feminist perspectives and visibilises rural voices in debates on land governance and social justice. With a Master’s in Industrial Sociology from Wits University, Nokwanda is also an academic who brings a grounded, social-scientific lens to conversations on law, power, and justice.
