Annalet Steenkamp has worked as a storyteller on six continents. She has a personal approach that fuels her work; ‘one must trust someone to tell them your story’. She combines her award-winning skills as a director and cinematographer and works extensively on social justice films. She is also an established documentary series director. Her debut feature film, I, Afrikaner won directing awards at DIFF and a SAFTA and had an extensive festival run including IDFA, Encounters, BFI London Film Festival and Visions du Réel.
