Born in Limpopo, and raised in Cape Town, Thihangwi is a recent MA Film graduate whose research centers around wildlife documentary and nature conservation in Southern Africa at the University of Cape Town. She is the head tutor for the 2024 Film in Africa course and Impact Facilitator course. Her passion for impact extends as a facilitator for the Documentary Filmmakers Association and launched her career as an impact producer.
